Timeless AI™ Twin answers your clients as you, around the clock, and passes to your executor when you die
Your clients, staff and patients ask you the same questions every week. Put a twin of you on your website, in your apps and inside AI assistants, and decide today who takes over when you die.
Timeless AI™ Twin is an AI twin of you from Idy®, which has 78 patents pending. Your twin answers clients in the first person and in your own voice on your website, through an API and inside AI assistants over MCP, sends them to your booking link, and passes to your executor under Executor Lock™.
On August 20, 2026, a startup called Twin1 came out of stealth with a $20 million seed round to build digital twins of individual lawyers and other knowledge workers from their email and chat, and it named Linklaters, Orrick and Dechert among its customers (Yahoo Finance, August 22, 2026). Harvard Business School now charges founders $699 for eight weeks of pitch practice against AI avatars of seven of its professors, and more than 100 universities have tested similar tools (PYMNTS, August 27, 2026). On September 30, 2026, Viven AI, backed by Khosla Ventures and Foundation Capital, relaunched its product in India as Twincafe, selling shareable AI twins to teachers, founders, consultants, lawyers, doctors and accountants (The Tribune, September 30, 2026). Expert twins have become a market in their own right, and the people being cloned are rarely the ones who hold the contract.
Timeless AI™ Twin puts the professional in charge. You build your twin from your own Persona, in your own words, and your twin answers as you, in your own cloned voice, on your website, in your apps and inside the AI assistants your clients already use. You read every conversation, your clients book and pay you directly, and you decide in writing which doors keep answering after you die. This page covers the four professionals who gain the most from a twin, which are the sole founder, the CEO, the solo psychologist and the tradesperson, and then every other profession that answers the same questions every week.
Definitions
AI twin: an AI version of a real person that speaks in the first person, in that person's words and voice, and answers questions on the person's behalf.
Timeless AI™ Twin: a professional's AI twin, built from the professional's own Persona, that answers on a website, through an API and inside AI assistants, and passes to the professional's executor.
MCP (Model Context Protocol): the open protocol AI assistants use to consult other services, so an assistant can ask your twin a question on a user's behalf.
Persona: the private AI version of you that you build by talking about your work, your values and your life.
Key-person risk: the risk that a business loses revenue, relationships or know-how when one essential person dies, falls ill or steps back.
Executor Lock™: Idy's patent-pending system of named executors, Trusted Contacts, a verified death report and a sealed snapshot of your Persona.
What is Timeless AI™ Twin?
Timeless AI™ Twin is an AI twin of a working professional that answers clients, students, patients and colleagues as that professional, at any hour, on three doors. The first door is your website, the second is any app you connect through the API, and the third is the AI assistants people already use, which reach your twin over MCP. Your twin speaks in the first person under your name and photo, in your own cloned voice, draws only on the parts of your Persona you chose, and replies in the visitor's own language. Timeless Pro switches your twin on at $59.99 a month or $599 a year, all prices on this page are in US dollars, and Pro includes everything in the Eternal plan.
The product follows one twin through three stages of a working life. Most AI tools for professionals cover the first stage and stop there, while Timeless AI™ Twin covers all three, and you settle the third stage door by door before anyone else can. The table shows what your twin does at each stage and what you decide today.
Stage | What your twin does | Who decides | What you set today |
|---|---|---|---|
While you work | Answers in your words and your voice, in the first person, on your website, in your app and inside AI assistants, in each visitor's language | You. You read every conversation and pause any door with one switch | Which job your twin does, what your twin draws on, which doors are open |
While you are away | Keeps answering at 11 p.m., on leave, on sabbatical and in retirement, qualifies visitors and sends ready ones to your booking link | You | Your booking link, your fees, your service area and your most-asked questions |
After you die | Executor Lock™ seals your Persona and hands control to your executor, and each door keeps answering only if you switched that door on | Your rules, carried out by the executor you named | Your executors and your after-lock choice for each door |
Is Timeless AI™ legit?
Yes, and you can check every part of the answer. Timeless AI™ is one of two brands from Idy, the company behind Timeless AI™, and both brands run on one platform with one set of published Terms of Service. Idy has 78 patents pending on the governance of personal AI, meaning consent, verified handovers to a named executor and the sealed snapshot behind Executor Lock™, and has filed two international patent applications under the Patent Cooperation Treaty, so the protection is being pursued beyond one country. What happens at your death is written into the Terms of Service (section 8) and into the Executor Lock™ Agreement that you and your executor accept, which no other AI twin contract we have read does.
The safety rules are written into the contract and enforced by the product. Twins are for people 18 and over (section 2.1), and our Terms bar anyone from building a Persona of another person without that person's explicit written consent (section 5.1). Every twin carries a Timeless AI™ Twin badge, and when a visitor asks whether a person is typing, your twin says plainly that the visitor is talking with your AI twin. Our obligations, including the permanent lock, pass to any successor company (section 16.4).
Your privacy rules are set by you, category by category. When you set up your twin, your work, your values and who you are come ticked by default, while family, health and money are never ticked for you, so nothing personal reaches a visitor unless you add the category. Visitors can ask anything, but only you teach your twin, because visitor conversations never become memories. Conversations are kept for 365 days so you can read them, and then they are deleted automatically.
How does your twin answer while you work?
Your twin answers as you, which is the single biggest difference between a twin and the support bots and avatars on the market. A support bot speaks for a company, and a video avatar reads a script someone wrote. Your twin says "I", "me" and "my clients", in your phrasing and your voice, from what you taught your twin, so a visitor gets the explanation you would have given on the phone. You open the doors you want and leave the rest closed.
Your website. Paste one line of code before the closing body tag of any page, and your twin appears as a chat button under your name and photo, with the Timeless AI™ Twin badge.
Your app. Send your secret key as a Bearer token to the twin API, and replies come back as JSON or as a live stream, so your twin can answer inside a course platform, a client portal or a staff tool.
AI assistants. Connect AI assistants to your remote MCP server, which offers two tools named ask and about, so an assistant can put a user's question to your twin and read your twin's own introduction.
Your keys. Each door has its own secret key, shown once when you create the door, and you can pause or remove any door at any time without touching the others.
Three working rules keep your twin trustworthy on every door. Your twin always carries the badge and answers truthfully about being an AI twin, which is exactly what the EU AI Act's Article 50 has required of AI systems that talk with people since August 2, 2026 (Baker Botts, September 2026). Your twin explains how you work and sends every booking question to your booking page, so the decisions that need you still come to you. And your twin learns only from you, never from the people asking questions.
What do clients see?
Clients see you, with your name, your photo and a small badge that marks the chat as your AI twin. Your twin greets them in the first person, answers in their language, and sounds like you because the answers come from your own Persona, spoken in your own cloned voice. Timeless Pro includes 1,000 replies a month, which works out to six cents a reply at $59.99. Persona Video also turns your Persona into video messages in your own face and voice, made from one 30-second recording, so a new client can meet you on video before the first appointment.
Example exchange. Elena Marsh is an invented corporate-finance lecturer at a Boston business school, and the exchange below illustrates how her twin answers a working professional who found her on her website.
A visitor asks | Elena's twin answers |
|---|---|
"Do you think I should learn discounted cash flow before I start my MBA?" | "I would, yes. Every case we read in my first-term course assumes you can build a simple DCF, and students who arrive with that skill spend the term on judgment instead of arithmetic. My free primer on my site takes about four hours." |
"Are you actually Elena?" | "I'm Elena's Timeless AI™ Twin, so not Elena typing live. I answer from what Elena taught me, and if you want to work with her directly, her office-hours booking page is linked below." |
"Can you do my valuation homework?" | "I won't do assessed work for you, and I'd tell you the same in person. Show me where your model breaks and I'll explain the step you're missing." |
What does your twin do while you are away?
Your twin keeps answering, converting and booking while you are in session, on a job, asleep, on leave or retired, and that is where most of a twin's value comes from. Harvard Business Review researchers sent web inquiries to 2,241 US companies and found that firms replying within an hour were nearly seven times as likely to qualify the lead as firms replying an hour later, and more than 60 times as likely as firms that waited 24 hours or longer, while 23% of companies never replied at all (Harvard Business Review, March 2011). Your twin replies in seconds, in your words, and hands every ready visitor to your own booking link or call-back form. Your clients pay you directly, Idy takes no share of your fees, and the four sections below show what that is worth for the professionals who gain the most.
How does a sole founder keep the company running if something happens to them?
A sole founder keeps the company running by putting the knowledge only the founder holds into a twin that staff, customers and buyers can ask, and by naming in writing who takes control of that twin. Japan shows the size of the risk at national scale, since the country's 2019 Small and Medium Enterprises White Paper estimated that about 1.27 million business owners aged 70 or older would have no successor by 2025, putting about 6.5 million jobs at risk (Wikipedia, Business Succession (Japan)). An eGain and Deloitte report in June 2026 found that 92% of organizations fail to capture retirees' knowledge consistently and put the value at risk at $6.9 trillion to $9.6 trillion (Quiver Quantitative, June 22, 2026). Key-person insurance replaces money, and a founder twin replaces the answers.
Worked example: Maria, a founder in Austin. Maria Delgado is an invented founder who built a 35-person commercial landscaping company in Austin. She answers about 20 questions a week that nobody else can answer, on how to bid a large contract, which crews suit which clients and what she promised the company's biggest accounts, and each answer takes her about 10 minutes. Her twin answers staff inside the company's chat tool through the API and answers customers on the website, and handles 60% of those questions, by assumption.
Maria's founder twin | Per year |
|---|---|
Questions only Maria can answer (20 a week at 10 minutes) | About 173 hours |
Share her twin answers (60%, by assumption) | About 104 hours |
Value of those hours at an assumed $150 an hour | About $15,600 |
Timeless Pro, yearly | $599 |
Doors that keep answering after the lock | The staff door, switched on by Maria |
Maria names her business partner and her son as executors, and both accept the Executor Lock™ Agreement while she is alive. She switches the staff door's after-lock setting on, so if she dies, her twin keeps answering staff from the sealed snapshot of everything she taught while her partner runs the transition, and the same twin answers a buyer's questions about how she priced work if the family sells. The plan works just as well for a founder who is aging out of the business, because the twin that answers staff today is the twin that answers the next owner tomorrow. For the planning side, read business continuity planning, key-person insurance explained, the best succession planning tools, how to capture founder knowledge before it is lost and how to build a digital twin for your business.
How can a CEO duplicate themselves with AI?
A CEO duplicates themselves by letting a twin answer the recurring questions from staff, investors, partners and customers in the CEO's own words, at any hour, so the CEO's own time goes to the decisions only the CEO can make. In May 2025, Klarna's Sebastian Siemiatkowski used an AI avatar on an investor call, and days later Zoom's Eric Yuan opened Zoom's quarterly earnings call with his custom avatar (TechCrunch, May 22, 2025). A year earlier Yuan had said he wanted a digital version of himself to join meetings for him, and told The Verge, "I can send a digital version of myself to join so I can go to the beach" (Fortune, June 5, 2024). LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman released a 14-minute conversation with "Reid AI", a twin trained on two decades of his books, speeches, interviews and podcasts (Popular Science, May 1, 2024).
The practice spread through the executive suite in 2026. BBC Future reported in August that Uber's Dara Khosrowshahi has a "Dara AI" that can ape his feedback style and help staff fine-tune presentations, that Meta has been building an AI twin of Mark Zuckerberg to help employees feel connected to their boss, and that HeyGen co-founder Wayne Liang uses his own twin to handle initial business queries (BBC Future, August 12, 2026). The same report described a deepfake video earlier in 2026 in which the likeness of the Bombay Stock Exchange's chief executive, Sundararaman Ramamurthy, was used to tout stocks, which is the strongest argument for a CEO to own the authorized version before someone else builds an unauthorized one.
Worked example: James, a CEO in Atlanta. James Whitfield is an invented CEO of a 600-person logistics company. He fields about 50 recurring questions a week from staff, investors and partners, on strategy, priorities, how he thinks about a hire or a market and what the company stands for, and each answer costs him about six minutes, or five hours a week. His twin answers 60% of them through the API inside the company intranet, on the investor page of the website and inside AI assistants, which gives him back three hours a week, or 156 hours a year, nearly four full 40-hour weeks, for $599 a year on Timeless Pro. You read every conversation, which turns the twin into a live feed of what your organization is confused about, and your twin sends anything that needs a decision to your office.
How can a psychologist turn website visitors into booked consultations?
A psychologist turns website visitors into booked consultations by putting a twin on the practice website that answers prospective clients at any hour about fit, specialties, fees, insurance and availability, prequalifies inquiries on practical fit, and moves each good match to the booking page. Many solo practices answer inquiries only in office hours or by voicemail, and a person who finally works up the courage to reach out at 11 p.m. finds a contact form and a wait. Your twin answers that person at 11 p.m., in your words and your voice, with the warmth and precision you would use on the phone. That responsiveness is a real point of difference against practices that answer only in office hours.
This section covers general practice information, not diagnosis or therapy. A psychologist's twin explains how the practice works and never assesses, diagnoses or treats. If you or someone you know is in crisis, call or text 988 in the US, or your local emergency number.
The profession is moving fast. The American Psychological Association's 2025 survey of 1,742 psychologists found that 29% use AI at least monthly, up from 11% a year earlier, and that 46% have no openings for new patients while 40% keep a waitlist (APA, December 2025). Illinois barred AI from providing therapy in August 2025 while allowing AI for administrative and supplementary support (Illinois IDFPR, August 4, 2025), and Nevada restricted AI that provides mental health care in June 2025 (WSGR, June 25, 2025). A Timeless AI™ Twin works on the administrative side of that line, because the twin handles practice information and the therapy stays with you.

Worked example: Dr. Rahman in Denver. Dr. Aisha Rahman is an invented licensed psychologist in solo practice in Denver, with a self-pay rate of $175 a session. Her website draws 600 visitors a month. Before her twin, 2% of visitors sent an inquiry, which was 12 a month, and half became first sessions, so 6 new clients started each month. With her twin answering at the moment of interest, 3% of visitors inquire, which is 18 a month, and half still book, so 9 new clients start, and if each averages 8 sessions, by assumption, each month's 3 extra clients bring $4,200 in session fees against $59.99 for Timeless Pro.
How can an electrician or plumber turn website visitors into booked jobs?
An electrician or plumber turns website visitors into booked jobs by putting a twin on the website that answers every visitor instantly, at 10 p.m. and on weekends, in the owner's own words, and sends each one to the owner's booking link or call-back form. A homeowner with a tripping breaker or a burst pipe will often contact several trades and book the first one that answers, and a twin makes sure the first answer comes from you. Your twin explains which jobs you take and which you refer out, the neighborhoods you cover, the rough price ranges you set, how urgent a problem is and what to do while waiting, and states your license and insurance exactly as you wrote them. Generic chatbots and answering services take messages, while your twin knows your trade and answers the way you would.
The market is large and growing. US electricians held about 821,000 jobs in 2025, with employment projected to grow 9% from 2025 to 2035 and about 72,700 openings a year, and plumbers, pipefitters and steamfitters held 510,600 jobs with growth of 7% (BLS, electricians; BLS, plumbers). In the United Kingdom, construction has more small businesses than any other sector, at 885,000 (UK Business Population Estimates 2025).
Worked example: Ray, an electrician in Columbus, Ohio. Ray Jackson is an invented licensed electrician who works alone with one van. His website draws 500 visitors a month, and 250 of them arrive after 6 p.m. or on weekends, asking about panel upgrades, EV chargers and whether a burning smell from an outlet is urgent. Before his twin, 2% of those visitors filled in his contact form, which was 5 requests, 3 were still free when he called back the next morning, and he won 2. With his twin answering instantly and sending visitors to his booking link, 4% request a booking, which is 10, and he wins 7, so at an assumed average ticket of $420 the 5 extra jobs bring $2,100 a month against $59.99 for Timeless Pro.
The same approach works in every country. Owen Price, an invented plumber in Leeds, England, uses his twin to explain the difference between a boiler service and a repair, which postcodes he covers and what his annual service costs, and his twin tells anyone with a burst pipe to turn off the stopcock before doing anything else. Both owners read the night's conversations over breakfast and start the day with booking requests already described. For lead data, AI receptionist comparisons and the numbers, read our guide to AI for plumbers and electricians, with three worked examples.
Which other professionals use twins, and how?
Every professional who answers the same questions every week can use a twin, and the groups below gain the most after the four above. For the full guide by profession, read professional AI for founders, CEOs, psychologists and tradespeople, and for eight professions with the numbers worked out, read how to monetize your expertise with AI, with eight worked examples. Each paragraph below names the doors that fit and the outside precedent that shows the demand is real.
Doctors and clinics. A clinic's twin answers hours, insurance and billing questions, what to bring to a first appointment, how referrals work and how to prepare for a test, on the clinic website and inside the AI assistants patients already ask. The same practice-information scope as the psychologist section applies, so every question about a patient's own care goes to the booking page and the medicine stays with the physician. A physician who teaches can add a separate door for medical students and residents on the parts of the specialty they explain every week.
Lecturers and professors. A lecturer's twin answers the questions students post at 2 a.m., in the lecturer's own explanations, and the teacher setup ships with the rule that the twin never does assessed work for a student. Georgia Tech's Professor Ashok Goel added a virtual teaching assistant, Jill Watson, to a course of about 300 students who posted about 10,000 forum messages a semester (Georgia Tech, May 9, 2016), and Harvard's CS50 set out in 2023 to approximate a one-to-one teacher-to-student ratio with AI (The Harvard Crimson, June 21, 2023). PYMNTS reported that Jill Watson classes recorded 66% A grades against 62% without the AI assistant.
Lawyers. A lawyer's twin explains how the lawyer works, what a first consultation covers, what documents to bring and what the fee structure looks like, and sends every question about a client's own matter to a booked consultation. Law firms are already paying for per-person twins, since Twin1's customers report automating 30% to 50% of communications work. A Timeless AI™ Twin belongs to the lawyer, carries the lawyer's name, and follows the lawyer's own succession plan when the lawyer moves firms.
Financial advisers. An adviser's twin explains the adviser's philosophy, the planning process and how fees work, and gives the next generation of a client family a way to know the adviser before they inherit. Natixis reported in April 2026 that 46% of advisers see the great wealth transfer as an existential threat, with client retention around 72% when a spouse inherits and around 50% across generations (Natixis, April 14, 2026). A twin that the heirs already talk to is a direct answer to that retention gap.
Coaches and consultants. A coach's twin answers clients between sessions with the coach's own frameworks, and a consultant's twin explains the method, minimums and timelines to prospects before the first call, so the calls that reach the calendar are the ones that close. Creator-clone tools such as Coachvox AI and Personify were built for this audience, and none of them names an executor or plans for the owner's death. For more, read an AI clone for coaches and creators and an AI clone for consultants.
Authors and speakers. An author's twin answers readers on the author's website, and AI assistants consult the twin when someone asks about the author's book. In May 2026 the journalist Kara Swisher sat for an interactive twin built from 77 recorded answers for a CNN special (StoryFile). A book's ideas keep selling long after the last signing, so an author's readers' door is a natural one to switch on for after the lock.
Retiring experts. A retiring expert's twin keeps the expert's knowledge working for the firm, the clients and the family after the expert stops working. AI/R reported in September 2026 that expert twins built with the participation of software professionals produced 72% of approved deliverables within six weeks at one client (GlobeNewswire, September 14, 2026). A twin built before the last day of work keeps that knowledge in the expert's own words.
How do the world's institutions already clone experts?
Universities, law firms, public companies and talent agencies already build AI versions of the experts they employ or represent, and the table shows who holds each twin. The pattern is consistent across countries. The institution builds or buys the twin, the institution sets the rules, and the expert's own succession plan rarely enters the picture.
Who | Country | What they built | Who holds the twin |
|---|---|---|---|
Harvard Business School | United States | $699 eight-week program in which founders pitch AI avatars of seven professors; about 760 founders since April 2026 (PYMNTS) | The school |
Georgia Tech | United States | Jill Watson, a virtual teaching assistant for a course of about 300 students (2016) | The university |
Twin1 | United States, with customers in the UK and US | Per-person twins of lawyers and knowledge workers from email and chat; $20 million seed (August 2026) | The firm that buys the twin |
Klarna and Zoom | Sweden and United States | CEO avatars on investor calls (May 2025) | The company |
Uber and Meta | United States | A "Dara AI" for rehearsal and an AI twin of Mark Zuckerberg for staff (BBC Future, August 2026) | The company |
AI/R TwinForge | International | Twins of software professionals, built with their participation, that produced 72% of approved deliverables within six weeks at one client | The client project |
Twincafe | India | Shareable AI twins for teachers, founders, consultants, lawyers, doctors and accountants (September 30, 2026) | The platform account |
CAA | United States | A "Vault" that stores clients' faces, voices and bodies (Black Enterprise, September 16, 2026) | The agency, for its clients |
Timeless AI™ Twin | Global | Your twin, built from your own Persona, on your website, API and MCP | You, with your executor named |
An owner-held twin with a named executor is a different kind of asset. When the institution holds the twin, the expert's knowledge works for the institution, and the twin's future depends on the institution's contract and the institution's plans. When you hold the twin, your knowledge works for you, your clients book with you, and your executor carries out your rules when you die. That is the case for building your own twin before someone builds one of you. The same holds for vendors, and the 2026 sale of Soul Machines put the digital people its customers had commissioned under a new owner, because its standard terms kept them as the supplier's property.
What happens to your twin when you die?
When you die, Executor Lock™ hands control to the executor you named, seals your Persona, and runs each door exactly as you decided while you were alive. Timeless Pro includes Eternal, so you can name up to five executors, and each one accepts the Executor Lock™ Agreement while you are alive. The steps are the same on both Idy brands.
Name your people. You name your executors and Trusted Contacts, and each one accepts the Executor Lock™ Agreement while you are alive.
Report. After your death, an executor or Trusted Contact who accepted uploads evidence, such as a death certificate or a funeral notice.
Check. Automated analysis reads the evidence, and then a person reviews the evidence before anything changes.
Cooling-off. Seven days pass in which every executor is told about the report and can dispute the report, and you can cancel a false report with proof of life.
Lock. Your Persona becomes a sealed snapshot of every memory as the memory stood that day, nothing pruned, nothing re-weighted, with a tamper-evident seal on the record.
Release. Each door follows its after-lock switch, and your family's access follows your release rules.
Each door carries one switch, labeled "Keep my Timeless AI™ Twin online after Executor Lock™". On Timeless the switch starts off, so you decide door by door which parts of your work keep answering. Elena closes her student door at the lock, because her students need a living lecturer, and keeps her professional door open, which then answers working professionals from the sealed snapshot of everything she taught. Our Terms call the lock permanent and irreversible (section 8.3), and nothing in the product can change your personality, tone or values afterward.
Your executor can | Your executor cannot |
|---|---|
Start the lock with evidence, or dispute a report that is false | Unlock your Persona |
Invite people you named who never accepted | Edit a memory or add a core memory |
Request a handoff of the executor role | Change your personality, tone or values |
Ask Idy to delete your Persona and your twin | Switch on a door you left off |
James Earl Jones treated his voice as a working asset and decided its future in writing. During the production of "Obi-Wan Kenobi" in 2022 he signed a deal letting Lucasfilm generate Darth Vader's voice from archival recordings, retired from the role that September, and died on September 9, 2024, aged 93 (Wikipedia). He made one decision for one voice and one character, two years ahead, and nobody had to guess what he wanted. Executor Lock™ gives every professional the same power over a whole body of work, and for your executor's part in it, read how Executor Lock™ works.
Why did Idy build the hard part first?
Idy, the company behind Timeless AI™, spent its first years on the parts of personal AI that matter most to a professional's partners, clients and family, and that most AI companies leave for later. Those parts are who controls your likeness at work, who decides what happens to the likeness when you die, who may see which parts of your life, and how your consent is recorded so the software obeys the consent. The answer became Executor Lock™, and the technology behind it is covered by Idy's 78 patents pending. Those patents pending cover verifying a death before control of a Persona changes hands, handing authority to a named executor and locking the Persona at that moment, consent and permissions with proof that consent was given, and keeping a Persona the same person when the underlying AI models change.
That order of work is why a Timeless AI™ Twin can answer your clients today, keep answering and booking while you are away, and pass to your executor, all on one account. Video-avatar tools such as Tavus, HeyGen and Synthesia were built to produce marketing, training and support videos. Creator clones such as Delphi and Uare.ai were built to answer an audience, and employer platforms such as Twin1 build twins of staff for the firm that buys them. When we read the published terms of nine AI twin and avatar platforms, about 85,000 words in total, not one named an executor or said what happens to your clone or your account when you die (terms checked October 1, 2026).
For a practice or a partnership, that gap is a business risk that most people only notice at the worst possible moment. A professional's twin belongs alongside the client list and the goodwill as part of what a practice is worth, and a twin with no succession plan leaves partners and families to argue over access and over what the twin is allowed to say. A Timeless AI™ Twin settles every one of those questions in advance, in a contract your executor has already signed. For the families of professionals, succession planning for families covers the part most plans miss.
What do the laws say about professional AI twins?
The laws that touch a professional's twin are about disclosure and consent, and a Timeless AI™ Twin is built around both. Since August 2, 2026, the EU AI Act's Article 50 has required that people be told when they are interacting with an AI unless that is obvious, with fines up to €15 million or 3% of worldwide turnover. South Korea's AI Basic Act took effect on January 22, 2026 and requires generative AI providers to tell users when AI is involved (IAPP). India has required prominent labels on synthetically generated information since February 20, 2026 (Freshfields).
In the United States, New York has required advertisers to disclose synthetic performers in ads since June 9, 2026, with penalties of $1,000 for a first violation and $5,000 after that (Office of the Governor of New York). Illinois and Nevada restrict AI in mental health care, as described above. Every Timeless AI™ Twin wears a badge, answers truthfully when asked, and speaks only for the professional who built the twin, so the professional's own consent is on record from the first reply. For the law country by country, read who owns your AI likeness after you die, and for the rules on who may act as you, read AI identity governance, explained.
How does Timeless AI™ Twin compare with other AI twins?
Timeless AI™ Twin is the professional twin built to keep working after the owner, while the other options were built for narrower jobs. The table compares the products professionals ask about most, with prices and terms as checked on October 1, 2026. Read the bottom three rows first, because those are the rows that decide what happens to your work when you are gone.

What does Timeless AI™ Twin cost?
Timeless AI™ Twin comes with Timeless Pro at $59.99 a month or $599 a year, which saves $120.88 against twelve monthly payments. Pro includes everything in Eternal, which means unlimited memories and storage, your Persona in your own voice and up to five executors, plus your twin on all three doors with 1,000 replies a month in your own cloned voice. If you stop paying, every door pauses at once and nothing you built is deleted, and you switch the doors back on yourself when you return. In most professions one extra booked client or job a month covers the plan.
Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
Free | $0, no card | Your Persona with 25 memories, Executor Lock™ setup and your first Persona Video |
Legacy | $14.99 a month | 500 memories, unlimited photos, your Persona in your own voice |

For a practice, faculty or firm that wants twins for several people, the organizations line at the end of this page connects you with our team. How do you put an AI twin of yourself online?
You can put a twin online in an afternoon, and the best twins start with a well-built Persona. The setup on the web takes four short steps after you switch on Pro, and you try your twin exactly as a visitor will before you open a single door. The order below produces the strongest twin.
Build your Persona free. Talk about your work, your method and your values, starting with 25 memories and no card.
Switch on Timeless Pro. Pro unlocks your twin, your three doors and up to five executors.
Pick the job your twin does. Choose from business, teacher or lecturer, creator, work handover or personal, and the right defaults load for that job.
Answer the setup questions in your own words. Write what you do, who you do the work for, your booking link, and up to 30 of your most-asked questions answered the way you answer on the phone.
Try your twin as a visitor. Ask your twin the hard questions your clients ask, and add memories wherever an answer needs more of you.
Open your doors. Add the website line, create an API key or connect AI assistants over MCP, one door at a time.
Set your after-lock choice and name your executor. Decide door by door what happens after the lock, name your executors, and your succession plan is done.
For a step-by-step guide to the Persona itself, read how to make an AI version of yourself. For video messages in your own face and voice, read how to make an AI video of yourself. Both guides start free, with no card.
Should your expertise stop when you do?
Your expertise can keep working after hours, while you are away and after you die, on terms you set door by door and carried out by an executor you chose. Institutions are already cloning experts, and the clone usually belongs to whoever pays for the build. Timeless AI™ Twin lets a professional hold the twin, keep every client relationship and write the succession plan, all on one account at $59.99 a month. James Earl Jones decided the future of his voice in writing two years before he died, and every founder, CEO, psychologist and tradesperson can now make that decision for a whole career in one afternoon.
Frequently asked questions
Is Timeless AI™ legit?+
Yes. Timeless AI™ is a brand of Idy, the company behind Timeless AI™, which has 78 patents pending, has filed two international patent applications, and publishes its Terms of Service, including what happens at your death, on its website. Every twin carries a badge, answers truthfully about being an AI twin, and is built only from the owner's own Persona.
Is Timeless AI™ safe?+
Yes. You choose which parts of your life your twin draws on, family, health and money are never included unless you add them, visitors never write to your memories, and every twin carries a badge and answers truthfully about being an AI twin. Conversations are kept for 365 days so you can read them and are then deleted.
How do I add an AI twin to my website?+
Switch on Timeless Pro, complete the four setup steps, and paste one line of code before the closing body tag of your site. Your twin appears as a chat button under your name and photo, and you can pause or remove the door at any time. The same setup also creates your API and MCP doors whenever you want them.
Is there an API and an MCP server for my twin?+
Yes. Each twin has a REST API that takes a secret key as a Bearer token and returns JSON or a live stream, and a remote MCP server with two tools, ask and about, so AI assistants can consult your twin directly. Each door has its own key, and you can pause any door without affecting the others.
Will people know they are talking to an AI?+
Yes. The Timeless AI™ Twin badge shows on every chat, and when a visitor asks whether a person is typing, your twin says plainly in one line that the visitor is talking with your AI twin, then carries on as you. That matches the disclosure the EU AI Act's Article 50 has required since August 2, 2026.
Can my twin answer in other languages?+
Yes. Your twin replies in the visitor's own language, so a client who writes in Spanish, Hebrew, Korean or Hindi gets your answer in that language. You teach your twin in your own language, and your twin carries your meaning across.
What does Timeless AI™ Twin cost?+
Timeless Pro costs $59.99 a month or $599 a year and includes everything in Eternal plus your twin on three doors with 1,000 replies a month in your own cloned voice. You can build your Persona free first, with no card. Your clients book and pay you directly, and Idy takes no share of your fees.
Can my business partners keep using my AI twin after I die?+
Yes, if you switch after-lock on for the door they use. After Executor Lock™, that door keeps answering from the sealed snapshot of your Persona, and your executor carries out your rules. Doors you leave off close at the lock, so your partners keep exactly the access you chose.
Can a psychologist or therapist use an AI twin to get more clients?+
Yes, for practice information. A psychologist's twin answers prospective clients about fit, specialties, fees, insurance and availability at any hour and moves good matches to the booking page, while the therapy stays with the psychologist. Illinois's 2025 law allows AI for administrative support, which is exactly the work the twin does.
Can an electrician or plumber use an AI twin to book more jobs?+
Yes. A trade twin on your website answers every visitor at night and on weekends, in your words, about the jobs you take, your service area, price ranges and urgency, and sends each one to your booking link or call-back form. Harvard Business Review found that replying within an hour made an inquiry nearly seven times as likely to qualify.
Can I make a twin of a colleague or a parent?+
No. A Timeless AI™ Twin is always your own, because our Terms (section 5.1) bar building a Persona of anyone else without their explicit written consent, publishing a twin is limited to your own Persona, and twins are for people 18 and over. A colleague or parent can build their own, and you can help them set up.
Why does Idy have 78 patents pending?+
Idy solved governance, death, privacy and consent before building the twin, because a twin that works for a professional has to answer who controls the twin, who sees what and who takes over. The 78 patents pending cover that work, including verified handovers to a named executor and the sealed snapshot. That foundation is what lets one twin work, book and pass on under a single account.
